Robert Alan Monkhouse (1 June 1928 – 29 December 2003) was an English entertainer and comedian. He was a comedy writer, comedian and actor and was also well known on television as a presenter and game show host. He was probably best known for being host of the TV game shows The Golden Shot, Celebrity Squares and Family Fortunes.
